Acceptable Use Policy

About this document

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes the conduct that is prohibited when you use the Fleetbit Service — the Client app, the Driver app, our website at https://fleetbit.app, and related services — operated by Fleetbit, a product of Fleetbit LLC ("Fleetbit," "we," "us").

This AUP applies to everyone who uses the Service and is incorporated into our Terms of Service for Clients, our Driver Agreement, and our EULA. Violating this AUP is a breach of those agreements.

Effective date: 2026-04-18. Contact: [email protected].

1. Core rules

You must not use the Service to do anything that is illegal, harmful, fraudulent, or infringing, or that could cause Fleetbit, our users, or the public to face legal or safety risk. The specific rules below are examples, not an exhaustive list.

2. Illegal or harmful conduct

You will not:

  • Violate any federal, state, or local law, including waste-management laws, traffic laws, tax laws, anti-discrimination laws, or anti-money-laundering laws.
  • Transport, present, or arrange pickup of hazardous, radioactive, or explosive materials except in accordance with applicable permits.
  • Dump or abandon waste unlawfully. As a Driver, you must deliver waste to a facility legally permitted to accept that waste type.
  • Misrepresent the waste at a pickup, its weight, or the presence of prohibited materials.
  • Impersonate another person, use a false identity, share account credentials, or let anyone else use your account.
  • Engage in threats, harassment, intimidation, stalking, hate speech, or discrimination against another user on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or any other legally-protected characteristic.
  • Engage in violence, sexual misconduct, or sexual solicitation on the Service or in connection with a Job.
  • Possess a weapon in a Fleetbit-facilitated pickup except as expressly permitted by applicable law and your insurance.
  • Operate a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, controlled substances, or any other impairment-causing condition.
  • Drive unsafely, violate traffic laws, or exceed maximum hours-of-service rules.

3. Service integrity

You will not:

  • Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security, authentication, or rate-limiting features.
  • Access the Service by any means other than the interfaces we provide (app, sanctioned API).
  • Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access, copy, or monitor any portion of the Service, except for search-engine indexing of the public website.
  • Reverse engineer the Service except as applicable law expressly permits.
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or attempt to breach any security or authentication measure without written authorization.
  • Introduce malware, viruses, or other code intended to damage or disrupt the Service.
  • Stress-test, denial-of-service, or overload the Service.
  • Upload content that contains viruses, malware, or executable code of any kind.

4. Content and communications

You will not post, transmit, or submit through the Service (including in messages to other users, in reviews, in Job notes, or in support tickets):

  • Content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, harassing, or threatening.
  • Content that infringes another person's intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
  • Content that contains personal information about a third party without their consent.
  • Spam, chain letters, pyramid schemes, or unsolicited commercial solicitations.
  • False or misleading reviews, manipulated ratings, or content designed to artificially boost or harm another user's standing on the Service.

We may remove content and we may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

5. Fraud and abuse

You will not:

  • Use the Service to launder money or finance terrorism.
  • Use a stolen, synthetic, or unauthorized payment method.
  • Charge back a payment in bad faith for a Job you actually received.
  • Create multiple accounts to abuse promotions, avoid deactivation, or circumvent account limits.
  • Collude with another user to defraud Fleetbit or a third party, for example by faking Jobs to farm payouts or promotional credit.
  • Manipulate the matching algorithm or engage in "ghost jobs" — accepting a Job you have no intent or capacity to complete.

6. Privacy of other users

You will not collect, store, publish, or transmit personal information about another Fleetbit user beyond what is necessary to perform a Job. Examples of prohibited conduct:

  • Recording a Client or Driver without their consent (other than lawful in-vehicle operational recording if you disclose it clearly).
  • Publishing a Client's or Driver's address, phone number, or photo outside of the Service.
  • Using Client or Driver contact information for marketing, recruiting, or any other purpose not authorized by the Service.

7. Platform-specific (Driver) rules

These rules apply specifically to Drivers, in addition to Sections 2–6:

  • Keep required permits, licenses, insurance, and inspections current.
  • Report accidents, injuries, spills, damage to property, or allegations of unsafe or unlawful conduct within 24 hours.
  • Do not subcontract a Job to anyone we have not pre-approved.
  • Do not accept tips, side-payments, or off-platform work from a Client you met through Fleetbit in a way that circumvents the Service's payment flow, except where Fleetbit has expressly enabled such payments.
  • Do not refuse a Job for a reason that would violate anti-discrimination law.

8. Platform-specific (Client) rules

These rules apply specifically to Clients:

  • Accurately describe the waste, its weight, and the access conditions at the pickup.
  • Be present (or have a designated representative present) at the scheduled pickup, or cancel in advance.
  • Treat Drivers with respect. Discrimination, harassment, or violence against a Driver may result in permanent deactivation and referral to law enforcement.

9. Reporting violations

If you observe conduct that violates this AUP, please report it:

  • In the app: tap the "Report" option on the job, review, or message in question.
  • By email: [email protected], subject "AUP report."
  • If there is an emergency or imminent danger: call 911 first, then report to us.

We investigate reports in good faith. We cannot always share the outcome of an investigation (for privacy reasons), but we act on credible reports and may suspend or deactivate accounts while we investigate.

10. Enforcement

Depending on the severity and frequency of a violation, we may:

  • Issue a warning.
  • Require you to agree to additional terms before continuing (for example, completing a safety course).
  • Temporarily suspend your account.
  • Permanently deactivate your account.
  • Reverse or withhold a payout or refund.
  • Report you to regulators or law enforcement.
  • Take legal action.

We may take any of the above steps immediately and without prior notice for severe violations — for example, conduct that endangers safety, conduct that is clearly criminal, or conduct that poses an imminent risk of harm or loss to Fleetbit or another user.

11. Changes

We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be announced by in-app notice or email. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent change.
