Cookie Policy
About this document
This Cookie Policy explains how Fleetbit, operated by Fleetbit LLC ("Fleetbit," "we," "us"), uses cookies and similar technologies on the websites at https://fleetbit.app, https://admin.fleetbit.app, https://api.fleetbit.app, and related subdomains (together, the "Website").
This policy does not cover the Fleetbit mobile applications — the client app and driver app do not use web cookies, but they do use device storage and identifiers as described in the Privacy Policy for Clients and Privacy Policy for Drivers.
Effective date: 2026-04-18. Contact: [email protected].
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and pixel tags. This policy uses the word "cookie" to refer to all of them.
Cookies can be:
- First-party — set by the website you are visiting (in our case, fleetbit.app).
- Third-party — set by another domain whose content is embedded on the website (for example, a map tile loaded from Google).
Cookies can also be:
- Session cookies — deleted when you close your browser.
- Persistent cookies — remain until they expire or you delete them.
2. Cookies we use
We keep our cookie use narrow. We group cookies into two categories.
2.1 Strictly necessary (always on)
These cookies are required for the Website to work. They do not track you across other sites. Examples:
__Host-session— authenticates you to the admin dashboard.csrf— prevents cross-site request forgery on form submissions.fb_consent— remembers your cookie-preferences choice.
2.2 Functionality (optional)
These remember your choices — for example, your preferred language or map zoom level — so you don't have to reset them every visit.
What we do not use
- We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies on fleetbit.app.
- We do not use third-party social-media pixels.
- We do not sell or share personal information through cookies.
3. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Our Website honors the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as an opt-out of sale and sharing of personal information for purposes of the California Consumer Privacy Act and similar state laws. We do not currently respond to Do Not Track (DNT) headers because there is no industry consensus on what DNT means.
4. How to manage cookies
4.1 In the Website banner
When you first visit the Website you will see a banner where you can accept all optional cookies, reject all optional cookies, or customize your choices by category. You can change your choice at any time by clicking "Cookie settings" in the Website footer.
4.2 In your browser
Most browsers let you view, delete, or block cookies. See your browser's help pages:
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy.
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data.
- Firefox: Preferences → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions.
Blocking strictly-necessary cookies will make parts of the Website stop working (for example, you will not be able to stay signed in to the admin dashboard).
5. Changes to this policy
If we add or remove cookies, we will update this policy and, if the change is material, we will surface an updated banner so you can re-express your choices. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change.
